Lovely hob, looks good and very easy to use. Solid build and very good value. Would recommend this product.

The pan supports are a total disappointment as they are not cast iron but coated with something in an attempt to make them look like cast iron. The result is very thin supports which screech when you slide pans between burners. Knobs are not any better being flimsy and without any click in position even at the off point. I’ll be replacing it very soon but will probably avoid another Bosch.

it's great just what I've been looking for

The hob is very similar in configuration to our previous hob. This hob looks good and the metal that the pans sit on is very sturdy. When saucepans are placed on the hob they do not move. The surface of the metal seems to be very slightly roughened so the pans stay in place (this is not visible on a quick glance). Safety was a big factor in this choice as with one or two other hobs we noticed some reviews that indicated pans were not secure when placed. We also wanted the larger burner at the front so we wouldn't have to lift it from the back. All the burners work well and turn on easily. So far we have nothing negative to say about our new purchase.

A good, simple mid-range hob from a reputable brand. Controls easy to use and easy to keep clean. Obviously requires professional installation (Gas Safe) so need to build in that cost.
