This is cooker has been an absolute nightmare. The hob developed a fault one month after installation and has not yet been fixed one month later. I have had a faulty cooker longer than a working one. It is almost impossible to get hold of Rangemaster to organise a repair. Appointments are then cancelled. Do not buy this cooker. The quality is terrible but the customer service is worse.

I was really looking forward to receiving my new Rangemaster - believing I was buying a quality product. We don’t have mains gas so went for an electric oven with induction hob. After only having it for 3 months, the hob blew and would no longer work. The service from the repair company was great but after replacing a circuit board in the hob, it remained faulty. I was told to contact AO and they arranged a replacement. The replacement is in and working, however the oven light only works when it wants to! It is really noisy when cooling down, particularly the hob but the oven is quite noisy too. Don’t have much confidence in it, especially the hob. The oven is good with plenty of room, especially with the top oven too. Overall I wouldn’t rush to get another Rangemaster- feel they are very over-priced and you could get equally as good, if not better, for a lot less!

Picked the rangemaster slot in as it was the closest model to my old de Dietrich model which is sadly no longer made. The cooker performs reasonably well, but knobs rather than a touch control hob are in my opinion a backward step. The manual supplied with the cooker has many inaccuracies/ typos that could be confusing to someone using an induction hob for the first time. I’m referring in particular to the hob timer, the instructions miss out a vital step should you wish to use the automatic switch off facility. The same applies when setting the time on the clock. Although these niggles do not affect the overall performance of the cooker they detract from ease of use hence the four star rating

very weary at first about going for an induction hob but its great just help yourself and buy the best pots and pans you can afford to go with it and its an amazing cooker

Absolutely awful - don't buy this product! The first one we ordered came with the base entirely broken (this may have been an issue in the warehouse, to be fair). The second one arrived and at least could be installed, but the fan in the oven didn't work, and then we realised that two of the control knobs had been installed in the wrong positions (so the top oven/grill knob was installed where the temp control for the bottom oven should be, and vice versa). The general feel of the cooker was just completely shoddy and rickety. AO's service was really good, and we've replaced this cooker with an AEG which is great, and you can feel the difference in quality really clearly. Avoid, avoid, avoid!
