Dont waste your money zero stars

    1/5
Dont waste your money I've not even had 2 years and ive had it replaced 3 times and this one today has stopped working the left hand side of the hob. To think the price and BRITISH MADE !!! You wouldn't think cheap knobs all numbers scraped off i had to replace them nearly straight away. Telescopic shelves are dreadful and now make the worst noise. Ill be ringing them back again tomorrow but i wont hold my breathe as outside the warranty and i bet it will cost more to fix then replace yet they are not cheap!!! not even 2 years ago. Utter shambles.

First delivery: cooker had damaged hinges and was taken away. Replacement: rings on the hob were (and still are) unreliable. If I could give it zero stars I would.

This oven is awful. It keeps cutting out and at the moment only the hob works. Bought it in March 2021 and already had an engineer out. Stoves customer service is appalling I was on hold for 50 mins and nobody picked up. I am very disappointed and let down. Do not waste your money on one of these cookers!

    Disappointing

    2/5
I have had this cooker 2 years now - so have given it a good go. Positives: looks good. I like the close down lid Negatives: Cooks unevenly. Knobs are coated in what can only be described as tin foil and these have blistered and peeled taking the numbers with it. The main oven door (cream) is turning pink. No idea why, can only assume the cream top coat is so thin the primer/undercoat is burning through. I would not recommend this product. Very disappointed and am looking to replace it already.

What I like.... I Absolutely love the look & the functions of this cooker, looks stunning in the kitchen. I took ages reading reviews etc before making the choice, but I’m so disappointed to say the least. What I don’t like... The telescopic runners are extremely stiff and screech as you pull the rack forward.. No space for the plate warmer shelf/ rack or you can’t get your casserole bowl in! The fan in the main oven is making a horrendous noise that we could not put up with. So stoves have to come out to a Brand new cooker.. Not very happy at all with my new Stoves Richmond 600e Cooker..

    Love the look

I ordered the cooker in advance of having a new kitchen. I love the retro look and it is also going to really fit in with the country feel I am hoping to achieve. I really like the enamel finish inside as I personally find that easy to wipe clean. I am sure once fitted in place the oven will be cooking things as well as it looks.

I've only had this cooker for a week so not used all the available functions yet hence four stars. But based on appearance and use so far, I'm sure a full five stars will apply soon. A most attractive and functional addition to our kitchen.

    Failing top oven hinges.

    4/5
As a man who doesn't cook but is an engineer... After ~2.75 years the top oven/grill door hinges needed replacing as the door wouldn't stay up and was drooping down ~20° when open. I took the door off and examined the hinges which in my opinion are badly engineered. It is easy to see why the door was hanging down as the full weight rests on a piece of folded steel ~1.2mm thick which just bends out over time with the weight of the door. Having tapped it back into alignment on both hinges I put a spot of weld each side to prevent it bending out again. Whilst doing this I noticed a lot of wear around the main pin that takes all the tension on the spring. I doubt if that will last much longer. Although we have a 5 years parts guarantee this doesn't apply unless the parts are fitted by their engineers so not really worth having for any competent person as call out charges are high. We purchased a Stoves in the hope that it would last longer than most others and they are supposedly UK made. However I suspect they are assembled in the UK and parts come from wherever. It appears the hinges are fairly universal to a number of other brands. Having fixed the hinges to stop the door drooping I used some 15mm diameter x 1mm neodymium magnets fixed at one side to the top of the cooker to keep the door closed which worked very well as it didn't shut securely, the springs in the hinges aren't adjustable. Also the Bluetooth is a waste of money, I doubt many people will use this feature as you need to see what's going on in the oven etc. However, it looks pretty which is why I'm sure it sells well and in spite of the hinges it cooks well according to the chef. Just hope it doesn't keep having silly avoidable faults through bad design.
