Ordered the product and it arrived swiftly by AO.com. No complaints there. The problems started when we plugged in the appliance, there was a constant ticking coming from the dials. This didn't affect the oven functionality as it still heated and cooked food but it was a worry. This lead to us calling AO.com for assistance and they got an engineer booked. Hotpoint engineer came out a week later and took a look. They said that they'd need to order a part and they'll come back next week. Another week goes by and they come to fit the part. Brilliant, the ticking stopped... but so did the entire oven. We essentially had a massive paper weight at this stage with a clock on it. Another call to Hotpoint and they booked in an engineer to come out a week later, so, a whole week without the oven and a family of four feasting on microwave meals - Yuck! Engineer came out and we finally have a working oven, no ticking and it cooks food, like it's meant to. Long story short, I'd personally not recommend this appliance but your experience my differ to mine, we could have just got a faulty one.

Had this oven a week and theres a clicking sound coming from it every 20 seconds even when the oven is off. Annoying

Well worked for just under a month then developed a fault and would not beat beyond a certain temp. Awaiting a replacement oven so got to admit not impressed.

Takes a long time to heat up to required temperature. The element has failed just over a year after purchase. Repeatedly buying kitchen appliances only to be let down by poor quality. Expect better from AO however I don't think they care about customer satisfaction, only sales figures.

Awful oven...rubber seal around the opening comes loose each time I use the oven, difficult to clean, the temperature dial and cooking selection dial move if you catch them, even very lightly. Would not recommend.

Cooks on one side more than the other. Contacted ao.com to ask for an exchange but advised I needed to call out hotpoint as it is under warranty. Having used twice only and found it does not cook food even I would have expected a refund. Would not expect to have to have someone out to fix a new cooker. Poor poor service and quality

Only used it twice and the second time the fan worked loose. Daren’t take the cover off in case it invalidated the warranty. Arranged an engineer to visit. An other day wasted.

WE HAVE BOUGHT MANY OVENS IN THE PAST NEVER HAVE I FOUND ONE WITH NO SHELVES YOU HAVE TO ORDER THEM SEPARATELY WHAT A NUISANCE WILL NOT BUY HOTPOINT AGAIN
