Bought this in May 2020 and it has now developed a fault. This is the second Hotpoint product that has broken just after the warranty has ended. We will not be buying another Hotpoint product.

Had it for a couple years no problems, cleaning function isn’t amazing and the door outer glass is just glued on which has now fell apart and the hinge damaged in the process. Has a 10 year parts guarantee but I’d have to pay for repairs and labour. Wouldn’t buy another hotpoint ever again.

Only lasted 13 MONTHS Very disappointing. Had thought Hotpoint a good manufacturer and AO only sold quality products. How wrong I was. Will not use either again. Seams both companies only interested in selling Insurance. Avoid go anywhere elese

Product damaged not in polystyrene in box just in plastic bag had rubbed around inside box causing marks on front which I didn't notice until after I installed the item contacted ao.com about the problem but nothing could be done as already installed disgusting response will not purchase any more items again

If you would like an oven you can turn on easily don’t buy this one. If you want an oven that stays on if you open and close the door don’t buy this one. If you want an oven that thinks it is far far cleverer than you then buy this one! What a terrible thing

I thought this oven was the bee's knee's for the first couple of months... until we put it in the clean mode. It did a perfect job at destroying itself and could have easily have destroyed the house were we asleep or out. For some reason the whole of the inside front of the door trim melted and shattered the toughened glass sending bricks of super heated glass all over the floor. I have had an oven with this function before and never experienced any problems whatsoever... but with this one; we followed the instructions to the letter and pow! The oven is practically brand new, never needed to have a pyrolytic clean as it was always kept spotless. I'm hoping we are just unlucky, but if the repair man says this is a common fault with this model, then he'll be taking it with him and I'll find a different brand.

Very disappointed with this oven. It developed a fault within the first few weeks where it wouldn't turn off unless unplugged. Fortunately this was repaired free of charge but still had to mess around for three weeks waiting. Overall the ovens performance is poor. The self clean facility doesn't burn everything off like our previous one. The rotisserie facility is very difficult use. Inserting the skewer into the hole at the back takes a lot of getting used to. The prongs on the skewer were next to useless and I am now using the ones from our previous oven. (Fortunately I kept them). The plastic handle for the skewer has also melted inside meaning it doesn't screw on effectively and I have burnt my finger several times as the skewer is unstable. As for the oven basic use it has just taken nearly 50 minutes to cook some chips on the second shelf using the fan facility at 200C. I don't believe the oven has been calibrated meaning it is not as hot as the temperature indicates. It is much hotter at the back than the front meaning you have to rotate food to cook evenly. Not what you would expect from a modern oven Overall useless and I only wish I had my old oven back. The only reason for two stars is that it looks nice.

Pyrolysis system in this oven is awful. I had to scrub the grease out by myself.
