Just like to say I was quite surprised how good this oven was! A+ energy rating plenty of automatic presets to choose from plus a manual option to set things up how you like. Multi function oven preheats nicely and cooks evenly nice browning function which is quick! Overall I chose this oven for several reasons functions economy and excellent finish and a mid range price, worth every penny! Only gripe I would have liked two shelves, although you do get a baking tray and drip tray which help get over the problem

Controls might be very good for switched on younger people but for us older ones they are quite confusing. The instruction manual could be much better. Apart from that we have not ruined anything yet.

Firstly the delivery service from AO was excellent especially given the virus situation. Next day delivery and they brought it into the hall for us. The oven was incredibly easy to fit, just plug it and screw into the cupboard. Oven has 9 heating functions and is incredibly quick to preheat on program 2 or 3. The rotisserie function was an added surprise and the instructions were very easy to follow. The built in timer works well with the functions too. My only issue is the door, if you don't open it fully it springs closed very quick, I've had a couple of near misses already! Overall a lot of functions for the price.

It’s a brilliantly built unit and the automatic settings are ace but the preheat is a pain when trying to cook multiple items. Overall happy but could do with simplifying.

My oven needed replacing and I was looking for one that was bigger inside and preferably self cleaning - this one ticked both of those boxes and price wise for a pyrolitic self cleaning oven, I thought it was very reasonable (I need to try that function yet but based on other reviews I'm hopeful). It does have a lot of functions which you probably won't use. We've tended to mainly use the turbo grill for things like bacon and sausages and the forced air setting for general cooking and both are great. The turbo grill is fast! The pizza function is good too - no soggy bottoms and perfectly crispy. I'm still a bit confused on some of the settings - like the baking ones, there is no preheat time and no guidance so I'm assuming that you either need to use the fast preheat first or just give it time to heat up.... I need to experiment! The spit roast function gave a fantastically crispy chicken, however it leaves little room for anything else in the oven so I suspect we won't really use it. I did manage to do a tray of roasted vegetables in the drip tray underneath thought and these were lovely from being cooked in the meat juices. The rack for this is an odd shape and takes up storage room so it's been discarded to the shed until we next need it! I have bought an additional shelf direct from Hotpoint as I needed it for baking. The only real downside is that when you pull the shelves out to remove food there is nothing that stops them coming out completely - on my old oven the shelves were on rails and I do miss this. Overall, so far it's a nice oven that does what I need it to. Would highly recommend.

Simple to use with some great features to help cook different foods. Pyro self clean keeps it nice and clean with great cooked food results . Quite novel to have a rotisserie option as well . The only down side is it could do with at least one more shelf supplied but that is a minor grumble I guess.

Great service from AO. This is a plug in so easy to fit. Looks really good and has plenty of functions, heats quickly, not too much noise. Only downside hence 4 stars are the controls. They are ‘hidden’, not knobs to turn so not intuitive, tricky to learn. Don’t lose the instructions!

The controls are a bit confusing at first but I think after we're used to them it'll be fine. That's the only negative though, it looks good and it works well. We used the spit roast option to cook a chicken and it was the best roast chicken we've ever had! I also doubted its pizza setting but I figured I'd test it out and it I was pleasantly surprised by a perfectly cooked pizza.
