Lovely design but very heavy

I really love the design of this kettle and it completes the look as I already have the microwave (toaster coming to my kitchen soon). My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that the kettle is tremendously heavy before you've even put water on it, so I think anyone who was elderly or who suffers from weak wrists or muscular issues would have a real problem using it. Not sure why it's so heavy.

Hadn't time to use it as it was seen to be broken in 2 places on opening. Now out of stock so can't get a replacement yet. Hopefully will get it replaced and would certainly be prepared to review again. Sorry.
