Loved the sleek look of this Swan Nordic kettle in Grey and was really pleased with it at first, I also purchased the matching microwave. Unfortunately and very disappointingly after just over 4 months the plastic wood finish is peeling off the inside of the handle. I'm on hold (15 mins) as I write this waiting to speak to AO retail to see what they will do about it.

This kettle looks lovely but leaves the water with a weird chemical/plastic taste. Nothing seems to get rid of it. Don't get this, but another brand.

The matt surface absorbs stains so they can’t be removed by any cleaner, the spout is too narrow and spits boiling water when you tip it, the silver surface on the logo peeled off and the indicator light broke within a few months. A poor design, badly made.

Great looking kettle well built and works well. Only issue is, the jug itself doesn't seem well insulated. As a result it becomes extremely hot to touch, caught me out a couple of times. Could be hazardous with a child. Also surely if its radiating heat, its not so efficient?

Love this kettle ??..been waiting a while for it to come back in stock. It is well made and very stylish..boils quite quick..It also boiled quietly when we first got it but now the boil is quite loud , which is a little annoying if anyone is watching the TV in the room ??..

Lovely looking kettle and can hold a lot of water to boil, but has a funny chemical taste. I have tried cleaning it out with various products but has still not improved. Also very noisy.

Looks stunning, standard kettle, however the design on Handle does fade away

Contrary to the specification, the water gauge under the handle is very difficult to see and I was unable to tell how much water was in the kettle. The gauge appears to start at 4 cups (not cost-effective) whereas most have a minimum of 2. And yes, I only know this by having taken a photo and zooming in! The instructions claim you can fill the kettle through the spout, but the spout is so small that the water immediately sprays back out again. The kettle is heavy, and the item I received had slight scratches on the lid and what appeared to be a watermark on the handle. I do not recommend it.
