    Bosch Series 2 Dishwasher

    We had to replace our 15 year old Bosch dishwasher as it was starting to give some bother. Got the replacement from AO. It was the right model for our use. The dishwasher is slightly bigger than our previous one. Has a separate cutlery tray and very quiet. The new dishwasher has longer programs compared to the previous model. We are very happy with our choice.

    Positives - Very quiet with excellent cleaning. A big improvement on my previous dishwasher. I like the cutlery rack. App has useful programme guide to ensure you use the most efficient wash. Irritations (unfair to call them negatives given it’s a good appliance) - Cutlery rack leaves less space for glasses on the middle rack although it can be removed. Top tip from other reviews is to keep your old cutlery basket! App requires level of competence although the dishwasher can easily be used manually. Eco programme is very long (over three hours) so remains to be seen if it’s effective once we get our next electricity bill.

    It's a shame the second rack doesn't have as much space as the previous version. It's hard to stand up tall glasses in it. Otherwise, it's great and washing everything well.

    Washing dishes really well and I like the cutlery tray on the top. Doesn't seem to have as short a wash as my last Bosch.

    Replacing the 23 year old Bosch

    I like the quiet settings as I work from home and use it during the day to make use of our solar panels. It's very well made. I don't like the cutlery tray system which sits in the top above the glasses and cups. Tall glasses don't go under it! Also I like to take my cutlery basket to my drawer to empty and that's not feasible. So glad I kept my old one from my 23 year old Bosch. It does look very smart, was good value and works ??

    Great product, I've been using the Eco cycle and no complaints at all. It's really quiet and easy to use. Only down is the racks could have been better designed

    Can’t get wine glasses in unless you drop the top basket. But then you can’t get plates in the bottom basket
