    not happy

    1/5
Not happy with this product at all! Do read the fine print of the specification doc. While the 'guides' for the hob are two different sizes the copper coil underneath is the equivalent across all four zones meaning you get hot and cold spots if you use a large fry pan that matches the 'guide' on the hob. Sneaky to put different sized rings on top and not have different sized coils to correspond. Have had lots of omelettes, pancakes, flat breads etc with a burnt middle and raw edge. Avoid if you like cooking.

    Terrible induction hob!

    1/5
Dreadful cooker! The oven does the job but the induction hob is absolutely awful! Settings 1-7 do nothing at all to cook food, they pulse on and off meaning food doesn’t cook properly, and trying to fry something is a joke as the edges of the pan don’t heat up. I wish I’d never purchased this. Stick with gas hobs or get a totally different design of induction hob. Stay well away from this Stoves one!!

    Avoid at all costs

I would rate this zero stars if I could. Firstly it is a few mil larger than 60cm - so we had to butcher our counter top to fit it in. Secondly, the induction hob is pretty useless, all the settings from 1 to 7 give out the same heat. Eight is needed if you want to heat anything up quickly and sometimes it still takes ages. There is a ridge at the top which fills with crumbs and is impossible to clean. I paid extra for the insurance to cover this and the oven has stopped working completely now and it turns out the insurance is a waste of time too. Avoid this rubbish at all costs.

    sterling hob

Not very happy about the product and already want to change it. Hot itself is very sufficient but you ned to keep it constantly 9 to keep heat running. Some problems with oven appear just after few weeks of purchasing. Completely disappointed with inductive cookers.

    good oven, diabolical hob.

Touch controls on hob have driven wife and me to distraction, so after 10 months it goes to the tip. A casual hand on the hob or moving a pan over switches the hot plates off,and woe betide one if not realised at the time. next one will have rotary controls on the front leaving the hob unencumbered.

    Very very noisy

Don’t buy. Extremely noisy when using any pan except cast iron. Very loud buzzing noise. Stoves say that’s just the noise it makes, my advice, buy a better brand

    Disappointed

Compared with my previous cooker (AEG) this is nowhere near as good. The hob induction zones take much longer to heat anything and then require higher settings to keep simmering. Despite several cycles of running the oven at a high temperature, and a week of cooking meals, the smell from the oven still taints the food. The knobs on the front of the cooker are too hot to touch if the oven has been on for more than an hour.

    Expensive mistake

    2/5
We bought this oven 5 years ago for around £800. The build quality is poor...the seals at the front of the hob were wonky on arrival and collect debris. Chrome on the knobs has bubbled and peeled. The oven cooks very unevenly. We had to replace the induction hob under an extended warranty (which cost a fortune!) and a few months on, two of the rings work when they like and the other two are very slow! It leaves yellow condensation stains on the wall behind the fan which Stoves said is normal and it could be because it's not clean (I clean it after use!) but I have never had this happen with any oven I've had before. The customer service has been pretty poor. We cancelled the warranty and I doubt we'll get any support with the faulty hob judging from the lack of concern they've shown over other problems. We bought this because it had good reviews at the time, and we wanted to support a British brand. It has put me off buying Stoves appliances in future.
