I found this product unsafe eg. if a 13cm flat based saucepan is not placed centrally over the burner it becomes unstable and can tip over and spill the boiling contents. In my opinion the design should provide a supporting saucepan rack with wider safety margin allowing for off center placement , like it did 20 years ago. Quite flimsy for a leading manufacturer, designed like all modern appliances cutting material to the minimum to just meet the minimum standards.

This stylish hob was purchased as a replacement for our old AEG. It is well made and enhances our new kitchen to a tee. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this product.

I bought all NEFF products- double oven, hob and hood. A number of friend had products from NEFF and I believed it was a name associated with quality but not this product. when cleaning, no matter what you use, the surface ends up scratched. This is only 2 weeks old but already looks worse than my 13 year old Belling hob. Go back after 5 minutes and it looks dirty again. The cast iron supports are the same, get any mark or cooking stain on them and they do not look as good again. The gas covers fall off any time you touch the hob. I went to register the products but when my builder installed these he inadvertently through out the product sheets. I contacted NEFF customer service with regards to this. They directed me to Registration, surely that is the job of customer service. Now i have to start over again.

When unwrapped the goods were damaged

Not worth the price, cheaply made, very flimsy and the porcelain igniters can be broken easily, the burner's metal cover does not appear to be of a good quality material. Typical of today's products, single use only. I wish I could have seen it prior to purchasing, would not have bought it.

Not yet installed as AO charged two lots of installation fee.

Much less good than my 20 year old Smeg. It's annoying having to keep the knobs pressed down and sparking for a few seconds, whereas my old hob always lit with one spark. The design of the knobs is poor - the only mark to show which end is which is a small indent which should be marked with a colour to make it obvious. Also they are white, not black as in the photo.

Product is easy to use and looks good.
