Seems to work fine. If I had small children I would be concerned that the flat front panel creates greater risk of touching the black pan supports that get very hot. our old hob had an angled panel that stopped hands accidentally sliding across.

Bought this to replace my 12 year old Neff stainless steel 5 burner hob. It was the only one that would fit into the granite work top so had little choice if I wanted a Neff. Chose Neff as all other products are Neff. Sadly this one seems to stain and show more marks more easily and is definitely much thinner and the satinless steel does not feel as thick or solid as the old one . On the positve side there is more control on the burners with more controlled settings. The control knobs click into position for 9 different heat settings. There are 3 pan supports so cleaning them in the sink or dish washer is easier than before as old one only had 2 pan supports. I've only had this new appliance for 2 weeks so early days.

Hob looks fine good size. 4 stars given because the fixings for hob to worktop could be better quality.

Great quality product. Nice controls. Looks good and works as well as it should.

The hob works perfect, only slight negative is the big gaps in the pan stand around the middle burner which makes it slightly more difficult to slide small pans around the hob surface without tipping. The controllability is brilliant. Nice looking appliance.

This cooker works well, easy to use, looks modern. Only thing I’d say is the black frame is hard to clean.

Really pleased with this. Swithered over an induction hob because of the ease of cleaning it. I also swithered over the five rings when someone asked how often I'd actually use all five. Glad I went for this one. I love cooking on gas, and the cast iron pan supports on this are really sturdy. The different size rings/cooking strengths give me plenty of options and the wok burner is great. I've often got three things on the go, and like the extra space this gives me to shuffle things around or take something off the heat quickly without having to move it to the worktop. It's also shallower than the induction hob I was looking at, so the utensil drawer underneath it has plenty of space. The width is great above a set of drawers - I have utensils and pans in the drawers underneath it and a stainless steel extractor hood above it and it looks great. And a fraction of the cost of the equivalent size of induction hob.
