I was dubious about buying one of the "new style" 4 slice toasters, but had to find a replacement for a long-slot Kenwood toaster which had finally died after many years of great service! However, I'm really delighted with this product - it saves on electricity if you only need to toast two slices and it's very effective Easy to regulate and toasts evenly both sides. Dragged kicking and screaming into the "modern" world of toasters, but very glad I was forced to update!
