It is with a heavy heart that I have to admit that I am somewhat disappointed with my Miele tumble dryer! My old Miele washing machine was amazing and I had the same high hopes for my new dryer. I believed that it was the right one for me, being more eco and was prepared for some extended drying times however the actual drying of anything in this model falls short in all of the programs I have so far tried out. I don't seem to get any really dry washing and as I don't have an airing cupboard it is difficult to air any damp washing without hanging it out all over my radiators which was not my goal. In the summer my washing will go out on the line to dry so it is now that I expect my tumble dryer to perform. I chose this model as my first choice was unavailable. I trusted that in paying a bit more it would be better but I have to say that I don't think it is worth the money I paid for it. I really don't see the point of all of the extra bells and whistles if the main function is inadequate. The only thing I am impressed with is the amount of water it extracts and the ease of cleaning the filters. Sorry Miele I don't recommend this particular model.

Pros - It's quiet and doesn't use much electricity. No vent hose needed! Cons - Takes quite a bit longer than our previous ancient Creda dryer. The previous dryer had a vent hose which you had to put out of a door or window, so it sent hot air outside and allowed cold air in. Not great! So this is much better. But it does take longer and so far we have found we need the extra dry setting as the normal setting still leaves things slightly damp.

Bought this for the high condensation rating. Seems to work really well; our old tumble drier (less than a year old standard condensing model) put so much warm moist air into the room that we had to run it with both windows open. With this heat pump model, you don't even notice it's been running.

Quiet, really quiet and even the ‘normal dry’ on the eco setting dries a load of towels really beautifully. Extremely pleased. Very idiot proof to use and set up. Electricity usage is already down!

The machine is extremely quiet, compared with the Hotpoint one it replaced. It’s in a kitchen diner so this is important. A-rated so good for keeping the electricity bills down.

Nice dryer.

I am extremely pleased with this tumble dryer. It is is extremely cheap to run. It dries clothes. Hopefully it will be as reliable all the other miele appliances I have owned.
