Initially thought the kettle looked a little large however the base is not too obstructive and the black plastic matches nicely with our worktop. The kettle features an ‘insulted’ wall so it isn’t hot to the touch unlike our older stainless-steel kettle. Lightweight being predominately plastic though it is plastic. The water level display is clear and avoids unnecessary hearting of water. Heating wise, quick and not overly loud. The base unit is clear and shows progress to defined temperature which maybe pre-set at set level. The keep warm function is available though we haven’t used it so far. Overall, very pleased so far but yet to see if it doesn’t leak as seems to be the case with other (AEG) high end kettles.

Fairly noisy and lid sticks sometimes unless you give it a hard push otherwise it is fine. Nice to have different temperature settings.

It's a quick and efficient kettle but thought the keep warm button would come in more handier but it doesn't. It keeps reboiling to get to the desired temperature but if you've put it at max temp you can't choose to keep it warm at a lower temp, not until the kettle has cooled down. Then as soon as you turn it on it starts boiling to max temp so you have to be quick at choosing a lower temp and the keep warm button. It's fancy and does the job and I've paid for it to do the fancy stuff but at the minute I think it's pointless and should have just bought a cheeper basic kettle.

I love my new Bosch kettle . It looks good . One tiny fault it pours out quickly . Had water every where a couple of times. Would still recommend to buy .

This is the second time I’ve bought this very same model of Bosch kettle, I was so impressed with the quality and durability of the first one I had for nearly 6 well used years.

Great kettle, glad I had it on offer! pros: heats the water fast, temp selection to 4 temperatures 70,80, 90 or 100 degrees Celsius and beeps when the water ready. it is isolated, so although the water is 100 degrees inside, the kettle is not hot outside. cons: it is a chunky kettle, it takes quite a bit of space between the tray and the kettle although is only 1.6 litres (normally kettles are 1.7l) overall, very happy with it!!

Very happy as can vary temperature. Boils quickly and is not as noisy as our old kettle but is larger and occupies more space in our counter top.

If you're looking for a variable temperature kettle on a budget - this is a great option. Easy to use, the teperature settings seem to work great so far, the watter boils quickly. The only downside for me is that the window through which you see how much water is in the kettle is in a bit of a weird place (it's partly hidden behind the handle) and also it's a bit of a hassle if you want to make just one cup of tea, as the marking for 1 cup is barely visible.
