The roller brushes stopped working after a few weeks. Received a replacement, and the same happened again. I think this isa very poor quality product. Sorry to have to say that. AO handled the replace ments very well indeed. I was impressed with their sevice.

Extension hose came apart on first use. Very disappointed. Otherwise the hoover seems fine and cleans well.

Bought this for my in-laws and just lasted over a year. They never registered it hence Vax refused warranty as well. I would say don't waste your money on this and by a Dyson or some other brand.

My Vax only lasted 3 years which is disappointing. The cable is very long and doesn't stay wrapped around the holder whilst hoovering so you constantly have to hold it or if it's all unwound on the floor, you have to constantly move it out of the way. With such a long cable too, it gets easily tangled up.

Great hoover in regards to picking things up but who ever invented the filter in the middle!! It’s a nightmare to empty! Its not a case of emptying it in the bin. I have to get the scissors up there and dig it out! Takes a good half hour just to empty the thing!! It’s such a small container too and having 2 dogs, it fills up rather quickly! So having to empty the darn thing each time I use it is very frustrating when I have to dig it out!! Definitely won’t be buying another vax hoover I’m afraid!

This is the 3rd vax we have had in 7 years. The only upside is that we had 6 years guarantee. They have had to replace our Vax 3 times. The vax works well until after a ffew months and then the fan belt is worn out and stops working. We replace and it wears out again. We have no pets. Its a 3 bed house with 2 reception rooms and we only have 4 carpets and the stairs/landing carpet. We are now looking at Dyson/Miele

Good for the price but not great on carpet. Although there is a setting on the bottom, maybe I haven’t found the right one for the carpet yet!

Ordered this as same as previous one we had, but very disappointed with the quality of fittings. Rubber seal had to be removed as impossible to fit connections otherwise
