Ordered this as I don't have soace for a seperate washer and dryer and nowhere to fit a vent for a traditional dryer. This machine works really well and is very quiet even when on a spin. It doesn't dry as fast as a normal dryer but in my opinion, the fact that you can put a load if washing in, set it to wash with a dry cycle and know that the machine will dry the clothes for the right amount of time without any further input from the user more than makes up for that. With a new baby in the house this quiet and user friendly washer/dryer has been an absolute game changer. Delivery was also prompt and considerably sooner than other retailers.

I’ve previously owned washing machines from Indesit and Beko, but neither comes close to the exceptional quality of my new Samsung washer-dryer. With four kids, laundry piles up fast, and this appliance has been an absolute lifesaver. It handles large loads effortlessly, and the drying function saves me so much time and space. It has a smaller drum than my old washer dryer but I can still fit in a double duvet, sheet and pillow cases no problem. It is very flexible in that you can adjust the temperature, rinses and spin speeds. You can do a quick cool wash in 15 mins but you can also do a quick wash with a higher temperature and it only takes about 25 mins. I was a bit alarmed by the very long length of the cycles quoted in the manual but that is just to get the eco figures. If I have time I will do the eco but there are plenty of other quicker options. The dryer works much quicker than my old one but it still has a lingering rubbery smell. That is getting less with each use. It plays a cute tune when it's finished but you can switch that off if you don't want to wake little ones. It's quieter than my old machine in operation.
