We searched through several washing machines. We had a Hoover, it broke down twice so that narrowed down our list. My early searches was for Bosch, my favoured manufacturer. We came across this Samsung, large 11k drum, steam feature, and many of the normal features, 5 year guarantee, if applied for. All taken into consideration We purchased this from AO, great delivery.

Does the job well. Loads of different programs, most of which I’ll never use but the options are there. Great big drum. What more can you say, family of four has lots of washing and this does it all.

Delivered two days after ordering. Self-installation was an easy process when following the manufacturer instructions. Operation was just as easy and a huge set of setting options. The large capacity drum allows good loads in most circumstances. In operation, it is so quiet with the direct drive motor. Also on the plus side is the lengthy manufacturer warranty that came with it. Very happy customer.

This machine is great, really quiet and good selection of cycle options. You can’t use a full 11kg on all cycles but honestly don’t know how you’d fit that many clothes in the drum, a typical load for us is about 4kg. Maybe if you’re trying to wash many towels? Anyways, works great for us, love the colour too

The Samsung washing machines are generally very good - last one was excellent for 15 years. Purchased this one at end November 23. Unfortunately had the same problem others have reported in reviews - there is a known problem with the software on all the Samsung 11Kg machines made around this time. It will affect every machine! Samsung customer support is abysmal and despite this known issue with their software, they just tell you to 'turn it off and on again' and 'manually drain it' and try to blame you for 'overloading' it (with one T shirt!). With AO help, I eventually got an engineer out, who updated the software (the latest version is 4 releases on from the faulty software on the machine). The machine has been fine ever since. Had the odd issue with it not spinning properly on occasion, but I believe this was just due to it not being able to balance the load sufficiently at that time to get up to the higher spin speeds. So, not as good as my previous Samsung 12kg washing machine, but still a good machine once you can get past all the issues.
