Great washer. Plenty of programmes. The rinse is far better than my last machine. Easy set up on the smart phone. I like the fact you can check on your phone the status of the wash programme. Best spin program I have found on it so far is the cloudy day cycle. The auto dose is a useful function as it saves you having to add liquids on every wash. For the impatient out there the good news is there is no waiting around for a couple of minutes at the end of the cycle for the door to open. I’ve successfully stacked a dryer on top of the machine using a WPRO kit with shelf. There’s no obstruction of the detergent drawer or the controls. The only downside to this machine would be for those fixated with watching the washing going round and round. The hatch in the door that allows you to add clothes during the cycle obstructs your panoramic view ??. I have been using the machine for several weeks now and I am fully satisfied with it so far. Would recommend it. Four star rating. I am keeping my fifth star for whoever invents a washer that can hang the clothes on the line whilst making me a cuppa ??.

I was so excited to get this machine I'd wanted it such a long time, I had previously ordered it from Samsung themselves who delayed my delivery time so I cancelled the order and went to AO - Im super impressed with AO but not the washing machine. I received it on Thursday 2nd Feb used it that night and when it was on a medium spin the banging of the drum shook the house and the drum looked as though it was hitting the door. I spoke to Samsung who told me to do a quick wash with 7 items in it and then a rinse and drain empty. No banging at all however when I went again to do a normal wash on an hour cycle the banging started again about 40mins into the cycle .... its been 4 days since I recieved the machine AO have no taken that one away and exchanged me for a new one which still bangs! I can't work out chats wrong the floor is sturdy the machine itself doesn't move its the drum that bangs. Im totally gutted as I was so excited to get it and now I don't know what to do!!

Really pleased with this. Cleans well, it’s quiet. The detergent self dosing is really convenient, just be aware this requires liquid detergent (there is an option for manual detergent using powder if you’d prefer)

It's absolutely brilliant. I've done 3 loads of washing in 2 days, which is more than I usually do in a month ?? My favourite feature is that I can set my washing going remotely before I leave work, and it will be ready to hang up when I get home, plus I can see on my phone what stage it's at and how long left. No, wait my favourite feature is the "laundry recipe", where you can input on the app what you're washing and how dirty it is, and it will tell you the best settings which you can then send to the machine. (Love the app as well, which can also control my smart light plugs, my Nest thermostat, my electricity smart meter and electrical usage, my Samsung TV, and my phone's Bluetooth connected devices.) I bought mainly for the fantastic eco features, and I also love the little bonus features like the hand wash and cold wash settings, and the ability to add washing during a cycle for those inevitable dropped socks. One thing I wish Samsung did better was give information about which detergents can be used in the auto dose - there was no information at all, so I contacted customer support in case I could/couldn't use concentrate. They told me I had to use HE compatible detergent, and that I could identify these by the HE symbol on the detergent packaging. It took me many many hours of online research, and looking at pictures of detergents, and contacting suppliers to finally discover that European detergents are HE compatible as standard. Thanks Samsung! Otherwise I can't fault this machine

I bought one of these machines in March 2021, the guarantee is meant to be 5 years. It has now developed a leak. After spending some time online and on the phone to Samsung where the person I spoke with could not understand me and then told me both the serial number and the model number were invalid, despite the fact I was reading them from the sticker on the machine. This whole debacle is turning into one major problem. Pray your Samsung machine doesn’t go wrong. Purchase Samsung at your peril.

Good washing machine. Does what it says on the tin. Quite quiet. The auto dosing system seems to use allot of liquid on the standard setting so it suggest manually lowering it unless you have a heavily spoiled load. Then there's the tune it plays for about 30 seconds when it finishes a programme. HOW ANNOYING I haven't managed to turn it off yet. Have no clue why they felt the need...

Really like the product especially the add-wash door and the quick wash function. This is an upgrade to an older 8kg model which gave up the ghost after many years heavy use. Not too keen on how the delay wash works which runs on a ‘time to end’ basis but seems to start the wash immediately and then kick in a rinse-hold until the time you want it to end….not so helpful if you’re trying to put a wash on in the night to benefit from cheaper fuel prices.

I went for this as it had good reviews and was a Which? Best Buy. I’ve had it about a week and I do around 2 loads a day usually plus it has done the extra washing that was waiting since the old machine broke! I didn’t like the look of it much in the photos with the Add Wash hatch but it looks a lot better in real life and is actually quite handy! It is really easy to use and has lots of wash options and it is easy to change the temperature or spin speed within those options. I’ve tried the Eco wash but you can’t change the temperature- it says it does that itself but I haven’t noticed whether it did actually heat the water - clothes came out clean regardless. The AutoDose saves me a lot of time and once I’ve fine tuned it, it will be perfect. At the moment I’m only using it for softener while I use up my Ariel pods and it’s probably using a bit too much softener but I can set it to use less. It doesn’t work great with Ariel pods as they have often ended up on the seal at the front during a wash even though I put them under the washing at the back when it starts (it’s fine if you put the pod in a laundry bag with socks etc) but if you’re flexible enough you can pause the wash, open the AddWash hatch and put your hand in to move the stuck pod (I take no responsibility for any injuries of people doing this - just because you can doesn’t mean you should - it’s probably a bad idea!). Anyhow - once my pods are used up I will change to liquid and that will solve the problem. Wash wise my clothes all come out clean and I’m very happy with that. I downloaded the app and connected it to the machine - I’ve still not worked out whether it’s much use to me or not yet but it does notify me on my phone when a cycle has finished which can be handy so I don’t forget there’s washing to hang up. Overall I'm very pleased.
