It didn’t work - there was a fault which kept the door shut even before I’d used it!

I think that the washing machine is probably going to be all right. But when I first ran it I thought that it was rather noisier than I was expecting it was going to be. In my case it does not matter all that much as it is in my utility room and by the time the fire door door between the kitchen and the utility room is shut, it is hardly audible even on full spin. There were certain things about the instructions which I think should be mentioned in the manual, one of which is that the programme seems to flash throughout. In many instances a flashing is a sign of a warning and yet I have run three different cycles now throughout their whole length, and have not received any of the warning codes listed in the manual. As the drum does not seem to get hot, I did initially wonder whether the washing machine was heating the water up, but again as I have said previously I have had no warning indications and there are a whole list of possible codes of possible faults. It is always difficult to provide a really accurate review of the machine when you have only just started using it, and time will tell no doubt as to how good a machine it actually is. But I do have a five-year warranty with it.

Too many long wash programs 3 hours is rediculous

Unfortunately I can only give a 1 star as our product was delivered faulty. The drum banged into the machine door as soon as the spin started, and the Samsung engineers said this happens a lot and they can't often solve the problem. Our old Samsung machine developed this problem after about 6 years and would have cost more than the machine was worth to fix apparently. We've decided not to use Samsung washing machines any more.

This is a great unit. Quiet, reliable and effective. It has a huge range of programmes, including a quick 15 minute one. It is easy to keep clean and access filters to keep them clear. A bit pricier than some units you can buy, but worth the extra for the capacity and reliability.

A very quiet machine which is really easy to operate. Tha clothes which are removed following washing are almost ready to iron. Compared to our old machine, this is night and day, and, it plays a tune!

I suppose most of us buy a new washing machine when the old one fails so I only have positive things to say. This machine is quiet by comparison, but then the bearings had gone on the old one so not sure how much quieter this one is in comparison to other makes. Lots of positives such as ease of use, lots of programmes useful to me, though I think I will use the mixed load 99 percent of the time. Negatives are that the washing powder compartments dont seem to wash the product through thoroughly. I have had to use a bottle of water to finish off the job. The musical aspect is annoying, at least my neighbour now knows when my wash is done. One aspect thats confused me is 9kg washing machine label. What does this refer to as the table for various washes seem to be for a 4 kg wash. Is the 9kg label the size of the drum but not the wash? Oddly enough the spin cycle though 1400 rpm doesnt seem as efficient as my old AEG model which I reluctantly got rid of as it cost too much to repair. Happy with this machine, good price and the delivery was great

Fab washing machine, much quieter than our older product and with the new efficiency rating much better for environment.
