This machine is to replace a 15 year old Samsung Eco. It is no where as good as the old model. Noisy, and rocks and clonks about on every wash, no matter what program you select or the size of the load. Loud whine when on fast spin. This is after fitting and being checked over by an engineer.

Huge disappointment. We bought this replace a similar machine that had worked faultlessly for 14 years. This machine failed just after two months from purchase and Samsung can't even send somebody to look at it for 3 weeks. We have no idea how long it will take to actually get a repair.

Disappointing quality. I have had this machine for 14 months. There were a few niggles, like it does not like a small load and came up with an unbalanced error message. The timer was often wrong so it would say 5 mins left and it would be longer! However the biggest issue was that in October it leaked .. biblical style from the bottom. The culprit a mangled 50p. Now I appreciate this was my error, but these days we rarely have coins in pockets this was probably the first time. So not to cope with 1 coin! I recall my mum would go through the filter in the washing machine to find enough for a takeaway.. in years gone by, there would be all sorts! So for 1 coin to do this much damage... Roll on 6 weeks and we have been incredibly careful.. and it happened again! The week before Christmas.. Samsung were awful, zero compassion and although asked me when I wanted the engineer (asap) and confirmed tomorrow.. the reality of their 3rd party company was different! Fortunately AO have been amazing in their help but I would not chose a Samsung washing machine again.

Noise when filling up noise when selecting programs noise when cycle finished- and there’s no half load / extra water options , iv had to re wash many loads to remove soap residue., my advice don’t use capsules with this machine, there is multiple rinse options but this adds to the noise with the filling issue so pick your battles lol, the softener part is shallow so it will slop over if u pour but ok if you use measuring cap, I am goin to change the water pipe as the 1 supplied is realy thin so I hope this will solve 2 issues, the alarm for cycle finished can be turned off but the power & selection pings n dings can not . I chose this for the programs suitable for my current household, no babycare cycle required - all grown now although some days I do question this lol, & the water remaining after spin did seem to be one of the lowest , the bubble soak was impressive following accident/injuries, quick wash 15 mins, most programs average an hour. I do actually like that when it’s finished there’s a click & no waiting for the time lock ,if you find that dropped sock & need to add it in, just stop the wash add it & go. Would I buy another? Sorry no, sticking to Bosch.

I’m SO disappointed! 2 washes in and on both washes socks have become stuck in the rubber seal at the front. This never happened with my previous machine (different brand). On the second wash the laundry sheets I use (dissolvable detergent sheets) have become stuck too - not good for the seal or for getting clothes clean. I imagine this would happen for users of the detergent pods too. The manual mentions a mesh bag, but this isn’t needed for other machines and if it’s essential then it should be provided. I wouldn’t buy again and I am going to contact AO about swapping.

We ordered a machine, which failed to meet our expectations. We paid extra for this upgraded machine, but still disappointed. Main reason is that although 1400 rpm clothes are not as dry as our old machine on the same # of spin cycles. When the second machine was delivered, AO also damaged our front doors. So overall disappointing product and disappointing service :-(

Machine wouldn’t rinse and spin a jumper I had hand washed. Timer kept sticking. I had to manually turn off the machine and remove a very soggy jumper. Other programs that I have tried seem to be ok

I am awaiting Samsung engineer to look at this item as faulty on install. No power.
