Gas to induction? Go for it

I’ve just done the leap from gas to induction and I was a little worried but it really isn’t that different. I’m very happy with how it cooks and have adjusted quickly to it. I bought all new pans for it and found them reasonable and available in all good supermarkets so that was fine. The sliding temperature bars were what I was after and that works well for me. I was also after the flexi type zone so this hob really did tick the main things I was looking for. The only thing I’m worried about is scratching it. I’m finding that I’m treating it very delicately as I am worried about scratching/marking it as it is such a lovely glossy finish it would be noticeable but time will tell. I find it cleans very easily and doesn’t look streaky or anything. I’m only using water and a micro fibre cloth most of the time. It was easy to install although it would have been handy to have a template in the instructions so that it was a bit easier to mark out the hole to cut in the new worktop. All in all very pleased.
