We brought this to replace an older hob. The extra size and dual zone is what caught our eye. Glad we got this. There is a quality feel to it. And easy to operate. If your in the market for a larger Hob I'd definitely recommend one of these.

Great induction hob - at a great price. Replaced a very expensive AEG hob and we much prefer the Zanussi hob for ease of use, and reliability

We have had a few induction hobs over the years. Having bought a new house with existing Zanussi appliances (but not a Zanussi hob) we decided to upgrade to this one (along with the Zanussi ZFV919Y cooker hood). We've actually had one of these for a few months now and we are very happy. The controls are very intuitive and we've found using all rings at the same time works very well compared to other induction hobs that do not. The infrared link to the cooker hood is the icing on the cake! I have two minor complaints - there's no delay when touching the on button before the hob turns on. Beware of this if you have a cat that likes to walk on the worktop! Similarely, the childproof lock feature can be turned off by a single touch of the lock button, whereas past hobs you'd have to touch and hold. I wouldn't deduct marks for these though as I cannot fault the functionality in respect to cooking - we just turn have to turn the hob off at the wall when it's not in use.

Absolutely perfect just what I was looking for

The Zanussi ZIFN844K Induction Hob is a very sleek, easy and efficient to use and well performing professional hob. This is my first time owning and using an induction hob, I had some reservations about how different, better or worse it would perform vs a traditional gas hob and I am pleased to report that it is significantly better in all areas. Firstly the unit heats up very quickly, and even has a PowerBoost mode to make each zone heat quicker, which is just amazing, it is also so slick looking and important to me it is very easy to clean with no buttons or knobs thanks to it’s fully automated touch controls. The performance was excellent, it exceeded my expectations when compared to my old gas hob, and the auto power cut off timer function is so useful and it is so very quiet as well. I Like the fact that if you own a compatible extractor, the hob can even control that too based on its function mode and this is something that I have already purchased and it also features a dual zone allowing you to use wider pans with the hob extending its heating zone to accommodate the wider panels. The design has it all covered, it is truly a joy to cook with and to use, and best of all it looks stunning in my new kitchen. An added and extra bonus is the cooking time with the induction hob, it is a lot faster and it will therefore save money on the ever increasing electric bills. I really like that. What I did not like is the cost of the induction ready pans, these are a lot more expensive, but they are good quality and will last a very long time. It is just a note to those buying this excellent hob, that it needs special induction pans, and these come at a higher cost than normal pans. Aside from that I cannot recommend it enough.
