Before you read the title "Neat and Simple" and take that to maybe be a bit of a shallow description, I will point out this is an induction hob, not an oven or washing machine, it has one purpose which is to heat the object you place on it at a specific speed, so to be neat and simple is to get the job done in the least obtrusive, most efficient way possible. which this hob does. The reason i decided to try a new hob was simple, I had an existing induction hob that was a standard square 1/2meter square model, Functionally it was essentially identical, but practically, I couldn't cook with large pans or multiple pans due to everything being squashed together. The Zanussi simple fixes this issue by taking a 4 plate hob and spacing things out nicely whilst also enlarging the existing zones to allow for larger implements. PROS: From a design perspective, it is clean, no bells and whistles hob that does its job. it heats my pans quickly and is easy to clean. It was very simple to install, I traced around the base of the hob, cut the hole into the countertop with a jigsaw, then dropped it in and sealed it up, no hassle. CONS: the interface is primitive, to the point it can be confusing to know what is going on because they scrimped money on the display so you only get single letter notifications and you need to know from memory what things do or mean. Overall there is little that needs to be said past this: It is a large induction hob that give plenty of room for even ambitious cooking projects in a large home. Being a glass surface it is very easy to clean when the inevitable spills happen. The Cost is higher than I would like for the feature set but it is not outrageous. The interface is a dated design I see even on 10year old induction units. it is easy to install and works reliably.

I have been a huge fan of induction cooking now for about a year. After moving into a new house and having to leave my induction hob behind, I was faced with using gas again. Now I used to love cooking with gas, but once you try induction, you’ll never look back. I managed about three weeks in the new house with the Zanussi gas hob before I gave up and ordered the new Zanussi Induction hob. I especially like this one as it has various zones to choose from and the ability to combine two to make an even larger cooking zone - brilliant! This induction hob was easy to install with the help of a local and trusted electrician. It looks incredible on my work top and has given me the feeling of extra space as it’s a flat surface! And wow, it is so easy to clean… after cooking some meals, I was worried that I had ruined my induction hob as my pans had left ring marks - but by simply using a gentle cream cleanser the marks magically disappeared and the hob looks brand new again. This is a common issue but easily rectified with the right cleaning products. I’m so happy to be back using induction cooking. I highly recommend Zanussi products especially this hob.

Does the job. Good value for money. Flexible layout for differing requirements. Very happy with it

Electrician fitted this morning so couldn’t comment on how good this product is but it looks good easy to switch on ext ,AO really easy to deal with delivery spot on

Excellent cooking induction hob

I am just so disappointed with this hob. Always loved Zanussi products, but this hob does not come up to expected standard. I have cooked stir fries (on hottest ring P setting) Ultimately it's fine for a couple of minutes then appears to turn itself to a lower setting ending with 'stewed' stir fries!!! If I use more than two areas at once, the power drops. Tried to phone Zanussi, but was left on the phone for 25 minutes. This is my 3rd induction hob over the years, (various manufacturers) and I am sad to say the worst one.

Vey stylish hob. I had a gas hob before changing it to the Zanussi Induction Hob and I wish I had changed it years ago. Brilliant heat control and fantastically easy to clean. Would recommend.
