This is my second Rug Doctor. First one (deep clean -red) I have used for years without any issues except of the suction element being prone to damage and cracks. This Pet TruDeep Cleaner is essentially identical to the red one when it comes to technical specifications, the only difference is the colour. Due to its powerful 1300w motor it extracts dirty water very effectively unlike its competitors with much smaller motors. The cleaning action is faultless and its components are easy to clean and maintain. This carpet washer what I would recommend for mid size household.

Cleans well and is easier to use than the Vax machine I had before. This Rug Doctor is also easier to clean the machine itself. The Rug Doctor cleaning solution for pet sains works very well with this machine. Would like slightly bigger water tanks for when I have large areas to clean. Overall a good buy.

I have had 2 vax machines and both have broken before 1 year. I also felt that the carpet was quite damp still after using them. However, the rug doctor definitely in my view pick up more of the water so the carpet is not as damp and dries quicker. I am definitely impressed so far.

Brilliant,so easy to use and gives a really good clean plus doesn’t leave the carpet soaking wet although i am ashamed at how much dirt came out of the hall runners even though i hoover everyday sometimes twice. And stores great under the stairs as it folds down.

Excellent carpet cleaner even on carpets that have been well used . Only drawback is the number of times you have to refill and empty the tanks. However, this makes the job one of the cleaning jobs where you can really see the difference and that becomes somewhat “addictive”.
