Absolutely superb and sooooooo quick!

I've had this for around 3 weeks and it's the first Windows laptop I've owned in 10 years having been using Apple Macbooks predominently. I bought this primarily to use Microsoft Flight Simulator as I'm currently training to be a pilot. It runs a version of it which is a couple of years old ok, on medium graphics settings. This isn't a high end gaming laptop but it is a good value for money one which is certainly capable of running applications quickly. It starts up very fast, is responsive, and overall feels like a well made product. Pros: - Fast start up. - Good sized screen. In my opinion 15 inch screens are the sweet spot for laptops. Resolution is acceptable but if you've used a Retina Display screen you'll definitely notice this is less sharp. Colours are strong and well balanced. - Windows 11 and its iCloud integration work very well. As someone who predominantly uses Apple products this was one of my concerns - in the past this wasn't good but it seems to have come on a long way. You have to download the iCloud App but it's free from the Microsoft Store. Allows seamless connection with iCloud so you can access your photos, sync passwords and so on, which is very handy. - Good connectivity: HDMI, 3 USB ports (of different types), Ethernet port, headphone socket. There's no memory card reader but that's not an issue for me. Cons: - The battery doesn't live up to expectations in terms of the charge it holds. It seems to need recharging more often than the description suggested and takes a while to charge especially if you're using the laptop at the same time. The charger is quite bulky. - The webcam this comes with is not of a suitable kind for facial recognition. Windows will tell you you cannot use this to set up face login for this reason, which I think is poor for a laptop of this price. There's no fingerprint reader so the login security is essentially limited to a pin/password. Overall I think this is a good combination of price versus performance. The quality would be well suited for 90% of people who want a decent spec affordable laptop. If you're seriously into gaming or want additional security (note Windows 11 Home has lesser security options than the Pro version and this laptop has the Home version installed) then you might want to shop around.

My second Lenovo Laptop great quality at a great price

Bought as a gift for my granddaughter and she’s over the moon with it! She tells me that it’s far more responsive than any other laptop she has ever used before. Great sleek design, looks super on her desk and is good, not just for her uni work but even better for gaming!! Not sure which is coming first but I’m sure she’ll find it fits the bill for both.
