This lap top was for my son who is into his gaming and laptop he had just wasn't cutting it, this gaming laptop is a game changer ( excuse the pun ), one Happy son

This is good. It's well made. The screen is good, with good clarity and colours. The keyboard is really nice to type on. It feels great especially for a laptop (I'm used to mechanical keyboards on a desktop). It's great for all of the day to day jobs, and it does really well for gaming in the evening! It can run all of the newest games I'm playing, at high graphics settings with a high frame rate (DLSS works well!). Using Lenovo Vantage it can be silent doing daily admin, but turn up the performance for games (probably with a headphones on - won't hear it) it will be noisier, but not absurd. It has a better processor, more RAM and a bigger SSD than most at this price. I also like Lenovo things as they are really well made and they have good customer service. Overall I'm quite thrilled with it and it was a really good price compared to competitor's models which had various detractions at this price point.

Out the box it's no slim Jim. It feels chunky, almost military or from a Sci-Fi movie. Quite weighty, feels robust. Picture quality and sound quality is good, the screen colours appear accurate with good shading in blacks. I mainly use for photographic work and general office tools. The only thing I don't like is the power supply, it's quite large for a USB-C unit. I haven't assessed battery life as mainly use plugged in.

Good spec, good price. After an older laptop this one flies!

I wanted something that I could game on casually and also use for business and this ticks all the boxes.
