Does what it says, not tried the edge straightener yet as perceive it a gimmic but will give it a go at sometime. It's much heavier than my 10 yr old strimmer, to be honest l dont think the extra functionality of this model is worth the increase in weight. Would recommend a cheaper and more basic/lightweight model and save unnecessary additional expense (and in long term probably less to go wrong as only comes with short two year guarantee).
