    Product Overview

Discover your new favourite recipe with this electric single oven from Whirlpool. This multifunctional model gives you a range of cooking options to get creative with, helping you master mealtimes. It’s ideal for large households too, thanks to its 73 litre capacity. It’s never been easier to keep an eye on your meals, as the telescopic shelf runners slide in and out in a single smooth action – so you’ll always know when your dishes are ready to serve. You’ll never need to scrub away messy food splatters either, as the catalytic liners absorb and oxidise grease as you cook.

    Features we love

Sensor controlled cooking creates delicious results

Cook up perfect meals every single time with this Whirlpool oven’s 6th SENSE technology. Simply select the type of food you’re cooking along with its weight and it’ll automatically adjust the settings for mouth-watering meals without the fuss. That means you won’t have to hover around the kitchen, letting you put your feet up until everything’s ready.

No more waiting around with quick cooking

Save time and electricity with the Ready2Cook function on this Whirlpool oven. Because the powerful convection fan is designed to efficiently circulate hot air around the oven interior, there’s no need to preheat the oven before you start to cook. Just pop in your casserole or a joint of meat, select the Ready2Cook function and rest assured that the oven will reach the right temperature to perfectly cook your food in no time.

Burns off grease for an easy clean

Keeping your oven pristine is easy thanks to the Pyrolytic cleaning feature included on this model. All you need to do is select the function using the simple control panel and the oven will initiate its self-cleaning mode. During this Pyrolytic cycle, the interior of the oven is heated to about 500°C, burning away any grease or food residue that has built up inside. When the oven has cooled down it’ll only need a quick wipe to remove the ashes.

    Close the door effortlessly

Thanks to this model’s soft closing door, you’ll be able to enjoy cooking without any unwanted racket. With just a gentle push, the slow-closing hinges move in a soft and silent motion, not only making it effortless to use, but preventing rushes of cold air from entering the oven and disrupting the temperature inside too. So, you can enjoy a little peace and quiet in your kitchen, knowing that your dishes are safe and sound inside.

    Wave goodbye to greasy spills

The telescopic guides on this model mean you can safely keep an eye on your food without removing it from the oven fully – and without any risk of spilling something or burning your fingers in the process! To make life easier, the robust rails have a clever stopper feature – meaning that you can pull out each shelf to check on your food without worrying about the shelf tipping or sliding out too far, even when you’ve got a heavy casserole bubbling away.

    Tips for measuring up

When measuring up for a new single oven, the width will be standard at around 59.5cm. You’ll need to make sure height of the oven space is also around 59.5cm for this single oven, as you can also get compact ovens that are 45cm tall. Check the depth too – single ovens are 56cm deep but you’ll need an extra couple of centimetres for any gas pipes. If you have a gas hob above your oven, it’s best to buy a model with a sloping back, rather than a square back – otherwise it might not fit under the gas pipe for the hob.

    Appliance features

    5/5
Excellent appliance, I have had two of these ovens - this one replaces one of them, the cooking features (fish, meat, cakes, pastry etc) are very good and produces excellent results. The pyro cleaning function is especially good keeping appliance clean and fresh, saves time without the need of using harsh chemicals, thus helping save the environment.

    Solid good quality oven

Works well. Gets up to temperature very quickly which is excellent. Like the fact you can turn light on and off. Would have been good to have two wire racks rather than one and then a tray.

    Dissapointed

    2/5
I have had this appliance for less than 2 years. It is smart looking and sounds great with its 6th sense functions. Sounds like it should be a breeze to use. That is not the case . The Handbook is very poor. Lots of Trial and error, even yet some basic meals cause an issue for example it doesn't get any more basic than Chicken Kievs and oven chips but even on the multi shelf cooking setting it is damn near impossible to get the chips browned. The pizza function is ok usually needs extra time. The setting for keeping things warm leaves things less than warm and has no ability to increase the temp from 65 degrees. Now after a little over 19 Months, it has developed a metallic fan rattle when the fan cuts off obviously this isn't ideal and sign of a fault. that takes me to the warranty. loads of warranty documents sent through but none with a Uk warranty number to call which in hindsight led me to not call up for the free 2 year warranty my mistake I foolishly expected to get more than a couple of years without it developing a fault. So now I either pay £160 for the engineer or take out a 12month plan, so that has been an expensive lesson. This is the first Oven I have bought that wasn't a basic fan oven.It is also the first oven that has lasted less than 5 years without developing a fault. Most ovens I have changed as the decals had come off.A selling point for this purchase. So honestly with the warranty issue poor handbook instructions and its inability to last more than 2 years i will probably steer clear of whirlpool when replacing

    Great all rounder!

    5/5
We love it! It has many useful functions, the fast preheat and smart cooking functions with timer and end time set (you can set the oven and go out so dinner is ready when you are back) are an absolute winner! It is pretty quiet and for a baker like me the proofing function is also pretty handy! One thing I wish was different was that when I put it on gays preheat I need to stop the oven so I can change to another cooking mode but a pretty small niggle all things considered! Definitely recommend ?? Ps. Haven't tried the pyrolitic cleaning yet but hoping that would come in handy!
