This unit was bought to cool our bedroom, a task it accomplished with ease. Do keep in mind the rating when selecting a this type of unit. Too powerful and you are wasting money. Setting up the wi-fi was a breeze, took just a few minutes. The app works well, over wi-if or mobile data. No more waiting in a hot room until it cools. Fan works well, not used the dehumidifier function yet, but expect to help dry washing indoors this winter.

This turned out better than the other reviews said. None of these machines are quiet so I stick this on in my loft conversion about an hour or two before I go to sleep then turn it off. It would get 5 stars if it got the temperature lower but its cool enough to get a good nights sleep and i'm a terrible insomniac. You could keep it on if you had ear plugs in. Major plus is that it came with a variety of window kits for all types and a I think a lot of these you have to buy separately.

Great item, works well, cools the room down reasonably quickly. We live in a flat roof house and our bedroom is about 29c when it’s really hot, so this machine was desperately needed! It Is quite loud to start with but the constant sound is like white noise, you quickly get used to it and can sleep with it fine. We use the app to switch on about 30mins before going to bed so the room is cool, then just before going to sleep, set temperature to 22 or 23c and it will switch between fan and air con mode automatically all night to maintain the set temperature. We have noticed an increase in electric when using, but that’s the price you pay for keeping cool, in my opinion it’s worth it. Window kit is a bit of a faff, but should definitely be used to make sure machine works best.

Cools the room down nicely! Not too loud when you sleep. Worth the money!
