Painless conversion from all gas to induction and fan electric

    5/5
I was cautious about changing from a gas to induction hob, but can't fault it. It is SO quick to heat up, very responsive, and easy to set at a specific level and be sure a pan will simmer just as you want it. I could use all but one of my very old pans on the induction hob, so no expensive restock required. We also found an induction compatible Bialetti moka coffee pot, which is slightly smaller than the recommended dimensions for the smallest area, but works fine. Phew! The fan oven is a dream after using an unpredictable and uneven cooking gas oven for many years. I am having to get used to it reaching full temperature and cooking things - need to keep an eye open to make sure things don't burn! I have only used the top oven as a grill so far. Lovely large area for grilling.

    Great cooker

    5/5
very nice cooker. Has loads of cooking functions i am looking forward to using. The oven is quite but the cooling fan can run for up to and hour after you turn it off. The induction hob can sometimes pulse when heating pans. The clock is bright and the countdown timer is a great addition .Overall a easy to use cooker.

    Smart appearance, good features

    5/5
Nice to have knobs as well as touch pad for the induction hob. Shelves well supported and level. Cooks very evenly. Grill drip tray good that it can be used without a shelf but very heavy with a large chicken ,potatoes and parsnips.

    New Cooker

    4/5
Smart looking cooker. The induction hob is really quick to heat up and easy to use. The oven works well - haven't tried all the various modes yet. Don't like the grill very much which is used with the door shut and seems to dry the food out - cooked pork chops were not overdone on the outside but the meat was very dry.

    DO NOT BUY

    1/5
So disappointed. Replaced an excellent AEG induction hob cooker with this model as they do not do a repair or offer a similar model as a replacement for us to purchase. This very expensive model is absolutely appalling. The design, layout and the quirks of the item are bewildering and it seems to be a botch of several models thrown together. DO NOT BUY IT. One star rating is too high for this item. An utter disgrace and a purchase we will regret. I will not mention the manual - terrible and a small child could do better and clearer. Turns off randomly during cooking. Temperature settings are confusing. Layout of controls confusing and not logical. A great let down from an AEG customer for years. I was unfortunately forced to replace an 8 year old cooker after eventually being told it was obsolete after two expensive repair visits by AEG. Thought staying with AEG was a good idea. How wrong I was.
