Works well on hard floor and one charge does the small home I have easily with battery left. As it's top heavy due to battery it can't be left stood up but to be expected. Spent alot of time cutting out hair from the roller after first use so I'll see how that goes. But for the price it is a good easy to use hoover with the nessecary extras for corners and high areas
