Tips for measuring up
When measuring for a cooker hood, we recommend matching the size of your new hood with the size of your hob – if they’re the same width, you’ll have a smoke- and odour-free kitchen. Also, check that the bottom of the hood will be at least 75cm from your hob.

I was surprised that Bosch had this unit at the same price as other less known brands, but when I got it I could see why. The quality isn't what you'd expect from Bosch. The speed and light switches are very crude. I bought separately the charcoal filter which doesn't fit well at all.
