It also comes with Heat Pump technology, which is a lot more energy-efficient. That’s because it recycles the hot air to completely remove the moisture from your clothes. And Optimal Dry™ sensors monitor humidity levels inside the drum to automatically adjust the drying time, so it’ll only run for as long as it needs to. Smart Control + is handy too, as it lets you control the machine from your smartphone – perfect if you want your towels to be dry the second you get back from your dog walk.

    Heat pump tumble dryers are super-efficient, but to save the most energy, programmes may take a little longer to dry your clothes than on standard dryers. It’s important not to overload the drum either, so they can perform at their best.

    What type of chocolate does a tumble dryer like?

    … Lindt chocolate! We really are enjoying drying clothes with this tumble. We don’t have it hooked up to drain water so you have to pull out the water draw and empty between washes but this is no bother. It dries really quickly, and clothes smell gorgeous too. It’s as quiet as a tumble is. We have it in the utility room so we don’t really hear it. Better than having clothes on a rack for 4 days in winter drying slowly! In summer we hang out clothes in the garden so this is great for 6 months of the year. As some users have said, it does play a fancy tune at the end but we quite enjoy it!

    A modern marvel

    A great machine. The last time we bought a washer was around a decade ago and boy, have things improved. My favourite feature isn't the tune it plays on completion (!) but the fact it senses the actual weight of each wash before beginning, often dramatically cutting down on time and energy usage.

    Great machine, I’d give it 5 stars if you could play around a bit more with the settings. I often end up with damp clothes although I’m still figuring it out.

    Great machine, quiet also, cheap to run. Bear in mind it’s going to take a little more time to dry items over conventional tumble dryers though. Can use to pre dry then finish off on the line or clothes rack. Easy to use. Minor point, there’s a reminder to clean filters before every use.

      The cost of our Remove & Recycle service goes towards safely transporting the product to our recycling plant. Under the WEEE regulations, recycling costs are primarily covered by the product manufacturer.

      Also, while we’re picking up your appliance, if you’ve got any smaller kitchen electricals that need recycling – such as kettles, toasters or blenders – we’ll happily take those away too at no extra charge. Just pass them to your driver when we’re picking up your larger appliance.
