For straight forward coffee do not let my partner operate this machine. Simple man needs simple coffee not exquisite delicious coffee this machine produces. If you prefer the coffee beans grounds and water in the cup and holder and not in the drip tray just take a stance and make them all yourself. I'd have given this machine 5* had it come with instructions to let not my partner or any other man operating the machine. Will create an atmosphere around the machine and prevent full enjoyment of the products high abilities.

Absolutely diabolical product. Firstly, let me say AO were first rate in handling the issue, it was a manufacturing issue. It works well for a few weeks then goes on to a never ending cleaning cycle… why am I so convinced, I’ve had two of them! At first I was delighted with it, great coffee taste, easy to learn, slow yes, but in some ways that was a joy. Then came the cleaning cycle. It would do a cycle, then stop, then want another clean… so it continued. I returned the machine in favour of a second one having been assured that this wouldn’t happen again - just a glitch in this machine. The new one arrives and less than 10 days later, the same problem. I’m not the only one who has had this problem, let me also point out that I live in an area of Britain with notoriously soft water. Also, for the sake of this review, I have autism, I read instruction books to the letter and must follow procedure for my own sanity, this was not user error. Please, please avoid making a costly error, avoid this machine!!!

We were looking for a ready and willing replacement for our old machine and boy did we find it. This is a slick, east to use piece of kit that looks great in our kitchen. So easy to set up and use. We will be enjoying fresh coffee for many years to come I hope.

Every time I want the milk frothed it wants to descale for 40 minutes! I’ve only managed to get two cups of coffee from the machine. I’m disappointed with the machine unfortunately.
