Modern efficiency with old-world charm

Great item, fits perfectly in our Cotswold cottage kitchen giving it a distinctly farmhouse feel. Build quality feels very good and interior compartments and trays all seem well constructed. I would definitely recommend this to others.

Aesthetically gorgeous if you like Smeg retro fridge freezers, and I'm a big fan! Lovely plastics and the finish inside and out is gorgeous with chrome edged shelves, although you'll have to really want a Smeg to justify the price tag as it doesn't have any mechanical bells and whistles. What I like - massive door rack that will fit 4-5, 2 litre milk containers, 2 covered drawers in the fridge for vegetables and fruit, meat etc, LED light strips on either side of the fridge compartment which look gorgeous and make me want to keep the fridge door open and stare at the contents! The only potential negative so far, and I've only had it a week, is that it runs a little too cold in my kitchen which although a cool room is well within the recommended operating temperature range. thermostat is currently set to the minimum setting and fridge temperature lies between 1 to 2C. I would have preferred the option of greater control to achieve a slightly higher temperature. However, despite being colder than I would like, my tomatoes, salads and vegetables have stayed fresher for longer than would have been the case in my previous fridge freezer, hence the reason for change. The freezer compartment is roomy and great for those items that I want to access regularly rather than keep opening my larger freezer.
Overall, I'm more than happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend
