    Product Overview

Mealtimes are a breeze with this induction job from Smeg. It has 4 zones that use clever electromagnets that detect and heat your pots only when they touch the surface, making it super-safe. And the Pan Detection technology only heats up the pots and not the hob’s surface, so that you can save energy as you prepare lunch or dinner. The Venting Cooktop is handy too, as this built-in downdraft cooker hood pulls down fumes from the air for a fresh-smelling kitchen. Plus, you can easily make curry for the family thanks to the Extendable Cooking Zone that lets you combine two rings into a bigger one – giving you ample space for larger pans.

    Features we love

    Extra flexible space

Thanks to the handy multizone cooking options, you’ll have far more flexibility when you’re making dinner. That’s because the two large cooking zones will automatically detect your pan and directly heat that area. So, you’ll never be limited to specific parts of the hob or worry about not having enough space.

Smart tech that does the thinking for you

Thanks to its smart tech, this model will do all the thinking for you. That’s because the nifty Autopot feature detects the position of your pans, so you don’t have to heat up a specific area. Plus, with Autovent the hood starts working when the pan starts heating so that it automatically starts extracting all those smells. All you have to do is put your food in the pan and get cooking – easy.

    More space to get creative

Thanks to the well-designed venting system, you’ll save on space in the kitchen. That’s because it sits in the middle of the hob, giving you smart and discrete ventilation. So, you can say goodbye to that chunky extraction fan taking up all your head space when you cook.

    Easily clean up any spills

Thanks to the integrated hood’s clever design, cleaning will be a breeze. That’s because it comes apart in just a few small steps, letting you get right down to the filters. Now you don’t need to worry if your sauce boils over and makes a mess – just detach and wipe it all clean. Simple.

Move your pots around with ease

Thanks to the sleek design, you’ll never struggle to move your pots and pans around the hob. That’s because the hob and hood sit flush against each other. All you’ve got to do now is push your gravy to one side and get the veggies on the go.

    Tips for measuring up

When measuring for an induction hob, the depth and height are usually standard, so you should focus on measuring the width – it’ll be between 60 and 90cm. Also, you need to make sure no cupboards will hang over the hob, and that there’s at least 65cm between the hob and your cooker hood. Learn more with our guide.

5 repairs in 2 years and still faulty. Avoid.

I've had this hob for over 2 years now and I am very disappointed. Since I have had it I have only been able to use 4 rings for maybe a total of a month. The rest of the time I have had 2 faulty rings. I have had engineers out to repair it 5 times now, and each time they are confused by the hob itself, struggle to get it out from the worktop and repair it. My kitchen units have been damaged as a consequence. When it does work, it heats up fast and the extraction is very effective - although I wish it wasn't automatic as I find myself needing to switch it off 95% of the time. But for the price I paid for it, and the fact it's been fault the majority of the time I have had it, I can't recommend it. Buy something more reliable.

    Great product

Great product, looks really smart :)

Looks great and works really well

I’ve only been using it for a week but so far I’m very happy. Heats up instantly and looks very smart. Only slight criticism is that the down venting extractor doesn’t suck all the steam down on the top setting, but I guess no extractor takes away 100% of what you produce in cooking.

    Great product

Great product, easy to use and lots of really useful features like timing each individual hob and automatic fan. Highly recommend, just make sure if you are using in an island you are aware that you will also need a recirculation kit which is an additional cost.

If you’ve bought a new appliance but you don’t want us to connect it for you, all you’ll need to do is disconnect your old one, empty it and place it by the entrance of your property, ready for us to pick up. Or, if you’ve ordered our connection service with a new appliance, we’ll disconnect your old one for you.

If you haven’t bought a new appliance, we can still collect your old one and take it away for recycling. However, as we won’t be able to come into your home to disconnect it, you’ll need to make sure it’s by the entrance to your property, ready for us to pick up. Our experts will recycle it safely and responsibly in our state-of-the-art facility.

The cost of our Remove & Recycle service goes towards safely transporting the product to our recycling plant. Under the WEEE regulations, recycling costs are primarily covered by the product manufacturer.

Also, while we’re picking up your appliance, if you’ve got any smaller kitchen electricals that need recycling – such as kettles, toasters or blenders – we’ll happily take those away too at no extra charge. Just pass them to your driver when we’re picking up your larger appliance.
