    Product Overview

Whip up amazing meals in no time with this built-in electric oven from Hoover. It has a large 65 litre capacity and is also multifunctional, giving you lots of different ways to cook. Select conventional cooking for a Sunday roast or the grill setting for juicy burgers. There’s a pizza function too, which uses the fan and bottom heating element to give every margherita a succulent topping and perfect crispy base. You can even set the programmable timer to turn the oven off automatically when your dinner is ready, so you can put your feet up while it cooks. It doesn’t need a lot of upkeep either, thanks to the clever Pyrolytic function. This turns burnt-on food to ash, so you won’t have to spend hours scrubbing.

Burns off grease for an easy clean

This oven cleans itself. Yes, you read that right. It locks the door up tight and ramps the temperature up to 450°C, burning away any leftover grease and leaving the inside looking brand new after a quick wipe. So now you don’t have to think twice the next time you fancy a lasagne.

    Tips for measuring up

When measuring up for a new single oven, the width will be standard at around 59.5cm. You’ll need to make sure height of the oven space is also around 59.5cm for this single oven, as you can also get compact ovens that are 45cm tall. Check the depth too – single ovens are 56cm deep but you’ll need an extra couple of centimetres for any gas pipes. If you have a gas hob above your oven, it’s best to buy a model with a sloping back, rather than a square back – otherwise it might not fit under the gas pipe for the hob.

    Second one of these

I bought the same oven a year ago too. We’ve now replaced both our old ovens. These aren’t bad. Though this second one was more expensive. I’m banking on getting my free M&S vouchers to compensate. You have to wait 28 days before you can claim them time will tell how easy that process is… I think the control knobs are a bit unusual compared to most but easy enough to get used to.

    New oven

Looking forward to tenants using the oven. It looks really good in the kitchen and delivery was on time, as arranged. The pyrolitic function is what swung it for us. At this time product is rated 3 until it has been used and then can update the rating.

    It’s a hoover that doesn’t suck

It’s got plenty of functions but I don’t think we’ll use them all. It was a good price and seems fairly well made. We have two single ovens this was a replacement for the top one. It won’t get used very much as it’s a bit awkward lifting heavy things down. The temperature settings are a bit different than we’re used to. It goes to a default setting when you select a function then you need to adjust it with the buttons if you want something different. It’s good that it’s in 5 degree steps. I’m pleased that it comes with a grill pan, though no handle, but not sure what to do with it when just using as oven. I’m taking it out atm to get better air circulation. Here’s hoping for a win.
