Great sound, paired with subwoofer and rear speakers, very immersive and great tone.

It’s a decentish soundbar to own if you use a Sony compatible tv then it should be easy to use. The only two downsides are that if you want the 360 degree surround sound experience then you have to buy the rear speakers (Sony rs3s) but personally for that price you can buy the HTA5000 and if you have enough space then go for the HTA500. Plus this soundbar (HTA300) is a bit expensive in comparison to the Sonus Beam Gen 2 and the Bose 600 and it’s a lot bigger than those 2 soundbars. But if you do wanna buy this soundbar then my recommendation to get the best sound quality: 1) use the Dolby surrounds virtualiser option in the audio settings section under advanced settings, 2) turn on the DRC compression and 3) turn on the Auto Volume option. If the sound still sounds narrow then try turning off the soundfield option. Also folks definitely do make use of the Sony centre acoustic system if you do own a Sony tv and if it’s compatible with this soundbar. By the way this soundbar is too basey and if too much base is not your your thing then try giving the Bose 600 or Sonus Beam Gen 2 a go.

Looks good and sounds good. Could upgrade it later on if I so wish by adding some wireless speakers. Being a Sony I reckon it will last.

Great soundbar. Fits perfectly underneath the 65 inch XR65A75KU that we bought. Easy to set up and brilliant sound quality. Would purchase again and recommend to friends.
