    Terrible - broke in 2 months and no repair in at least 2 weeks

    Terrible. It completely stopped working after 2 months. Contacted Hotpoint guarantee provider to get it fixed within the guarantee - it took ages to get someone on the phone, and the soonest they are sending an engineer is 9 days after it initially broke down (and this is only to look at the problem, won't be fixing it on the day). A FF is not something a family can live without for such a long time! Terrible disappointed with the product and the postsale support.

    Some of the shelf spacing are a bit tight and door shelves not as flexible as they should be. Also, the compressor of the fridge/ freezer sometimes makes some horrendous popping noises (fortunately few and far between).

    It's quiet, it's roomy, and I'm delighted! The other reviews worried me - I nearly didn't buy it - but I can't hear it (ok, I heard it when initially plugged in whilst it got to temp but how often does that happen?!). We've gone from 50/50 to 70/30 and barely lost any freezer space but gained loads of fridge space so I have nothing but good things to say! This is an all-round win!
