Don't be deceived by the soundbar size ??

I needed a new soundbar to complement my new Samsung TV. I was drawn to the HW-S800D because the size was ideal for my TV shelving unit, and I needed a soundbar with Q-Symphony to synchronise with the TV.
Don't be put off by the slimline nature of the soundar, as it works well even at low levels in a small living room. The subwoofer is also dynamic & powerful for it's size. I watch a lot of sport, and I've been pleasantly surprised by the audio quality. Movies and documentaries also come across well. I haven't experimented with the manual settings, but the "Standard" mode works well for my viewing tastes ??
Both are easy to connect - plug in and play immediately if you use the supplied mini HDMI cable. I haven't tried the WiFi connection to date, but other reviews suggest that connection is also easy. Q-Symphony is synchronised via the TV audio options.
The remote control appears a wee bit confusing to start with, but less is definitely more in this case as the functions are easy to manage once you get the gist of them via the instruction leaflet. No batteries required, as recharging can be done via USB cable.
Can't fault this soundbar set. An excellent purchase from Samsung's 2024 range ???? ??
