    Product Overview

This stylish induction hob from AEG is not only efficient, but delivers beautiful cuisine in no time. Its 4 zones have electromagnets that directly heat the base of your pans, rather than the whole surface, for safer cooking. Plus, thanks to MaxiSense technology, no matter the size or shape of your dish, it’ll detect it and send heat to that area only. This prevents energy being wasted around the outsides, making it much more efficient. If you’re heating up a pot of water, the SenseBoil® feature will recognise when it’s fully boiled, and automatically turn down to a gentle simmer to prevent overcooking. This model can even connect to a compatible cooker hood with the Hob2Hood feature, so it’ll begin extracting straight away.

    Features we love

Cooking on the hob made even safer

Preparing dishes on the hob couldn’t get any faster, safer or more efficient, thanks to induction technology. Unlike your gas or ceramic hob, induction ones use electromagnets beneath the surface to recognise the size and shape of your induction pans. This tells it exactly where it needs to send heat to, and it’ll only start to warm up when your pot is on top, keeping you safe in the kitchen.

    Never overboil again

Thanks to AEG’s SenseBoil®, which stops your pans overflowing, you’ll have complete control in the kitchen. When your water’s boiled, the pressure from the bubbles makes the pot vibrate slightly. Because there are sensors in the hob’s surface, they recognise the movement and immediately switch the heat to a lower setting, to keep the water simmering. This means you can start chopping the potatoes without having to constantly monitor the pan.

    Create the perfect cooking area

By connecting this hood to a compatible hob, AEG’s Hob2Hood feature offers a hands-free way of managing your cooking environment. When you turn your hob on, it communicates with the hood via infrared, so the lights will come on too. It’ll even recognise when your kitchen is getting smokier and will boost the power to control it. This means that you’ll never find yourself fumbling with the controls.

    Always cook safely and efficiently

The MaxiSense® feature on this induction hob detects the size and shape of your pans, however big or small they are. By doing this, it knows exactly where your pots are and only sends heat to that area. As energy isn’t being wasted around the outside of the zones, the surface is cool to touch everywhere else. This means it’s not only really efficient, but it’s super-safe too.

    Easily control the cooking

Thanks to AEG’s innovative Direktouch controls, selecting the perfect settings has never been simpler. Whether you’re sliding your way to maximum power, or quickly tapping it back down to a lower level, you’ll always get a speedy response. And, because they’re effortless to use, you’ll find the temperature easy to adjust whilst you’re cooking.

Cook delicious dishes in no time

If you’re heading out for a night at the movies, the PowerBoost function gives an extra burst of heat to help you cook faster. You might even get there in time for the trailers, because the water will be boiled and ready to go in under 90 seconds. So, you can throw the spaghetti in, enjoy your meal, and head for the cinema in no time. Just don’t forget the popcorn!

    Tips for measuring up

When measuring for an induction hob, the depth and height are usually standard, so you should focus on measuring the width – it’ll be between 60 and 90cm. Also, you need to make sure no cupboards will hang over the hob, and that there’s at least 65cm between the hob and your cooker hood. Learn more with our guide.

    great addition to our kitchen

    5/5
it looks superb with its bevelled edges and the controls are clear to understand. The hob is very smart and has updated the look of the kitchen immediately. Had a previous AEG hob which lasted for 15 years. Great to use and the non boil over detector an added bonus.

    Great hob

    4/5
Hob is very smart looking, easy to clean and controls are very simple. It books water very very quickly and more efficiently than using the kettle first. The sensi-boil function is hit and miss though.

    Great hob, great service

    5/5
Great hob, replaced a new build ceramic hob but so much better now with induction. Very straightforward to use, the hob identifies if a pan is unsupported and has some functions for monitoring boiling over, adjusting for pan size, easy change of temperatures, and a timer. For the price and quality this is a good deal I think.

    Good hob unit

    5/5
Very nice hob unit. The controls are easy to use, though take a bit of getting used to after years using a gas hob. Heat is consistent and easy to control. No knobs to collect dirt so the whole thing is very easyto keep clean.

    • Remove & Recycle £20.00

If you’ve bought a new appliance but you don’t want us to connect it for you, all you’ll need to do is disconnect your old one, empty it and place it by the entrance of your property, ready for us to pick up. Or, if you’ve ordered our connection service with a new appliance, we’ll disconnect your old one for you.

If you haven’t bought a new appliance, we can still collect your old one and take it away for recycling.
