    Product Overview

    This Indesit gas cooker is a great choice if you love preparing hearty recipes. It has a conventional oven, meaning it gets hotter higher up. So, whilst the Yorkshire puddings are rising at the top, the chicken will be happily roasting in the middle. There’s a flame safety feature too, that cuts the gas supply if the flame goes out by accident, making it super-safe. And, as the rotary dials are easy-to-use, all you have to do is turn the knobs to select your desired settings. That’s not all either, as the grease-proof enamel coating stops splatters from sticking, so all it’ll need is a quick wipe.

    Enamel liners

    Nobody likes the unpleasant task of cleaning the oven, but life is made easier with the enamel lining feature of this model. The glossy, smooth interior coating prevents food and grease becoming stuck to the top and sides of the oven during cooking – meaning that the residue will wipe away more easily after use and with less effort on your part!

    Tips for measuring up

    As a freestanding cooker, this model can easily be fitted into an appropriate space between your kitchen countertops. Cookers usually come in three widths – 50cm, 55cm or 60cm – so just measure the space you have to find one that’ll fit. Also check the depth, as you’ll need to allow for gas pipes and electrical sockets around the back of the appliance.

    It's ok; not great, but not terrible.

    Overall adequate, works fine and is a compact size (which was main reason for purchase - if you have more space, I'd look for something better). Doesn't feel robustly made and design is basic with some sharp/raw metel edges inside oven/grill to be careful of when cleaning; not as nicely finished as the very old cooker it replaced. It seems like a late-discovered design flaw was addressed cheaply by providing a strip of metal which the user has to attach for grilling, rather than properly fixing the issue. Most irritating is the length of time you have to keep gas dials depressed while lighting oven/burners. And numbers on dials are poorly placed so you need to crouch/bend to see them.

Our Gas Safe-registered engineers will disconnect your old appliance for you before getting your new one completely set up and ready to use. We’ll unpack it and give it a full health check first, to make sure everything is in tip-top shape, and we’ll give you an official gas safety certificate too.       We’re taking a sensible approach to the changing COVID-19 situation, and so we’ve had to make some adjustments to our services.

      If you’ve bought a new appliance but you don’t want us to connect it for you, all you’ll need to do is disconnect your old one, empty it and place it by the entrance of your property, ready for us to pick up.

      If you haven’t bought a new appliance, we can still collect your old one and take it away for recycling. However, as we won’t be able to come into your home to disconnect it, you’ll need to make sure it’s by the entrance to your property, ready for us to pick up. Our experts will recycle it safely and responsibly in our state-of-the-art facility.

      The cost of our Remove & Recycle service goes towards safely transporting the product to our recycling plant. Under the WEEE regulations, recycling costs are primarily covered by the product manufacturer.

      Also, while we’re picking up your appliance, if you’ve got any smaller kitchen electricals that need recycling – such as kettles, toasters or blenders – we’ll happily take those away too at no extra charge. Just pass them to your driver when we’re picking up your larger appliance.
