This is my first induction hob - and in many ways I wish I'd switched from a using ceramic one sooner. Pans are brought to the boil quickly and the response to turning 'rings' up or down is immediate. It's also very easy to clean and operate. My only issue with the hob (and maybe it's an issue with all induction hobs) is that it cannot cope with having all four rings on at once - something I need to do virtually every night. I'd hoped having a mains-wired hob would mean avoiding it being underpowered but it seems that's not the case. Apart from the 'four pans' issue, the hob is excellent. Which, in some ways, makes it's one failing even more disappointing - especially considering its price.

I like this hob much more compared to my previous ceramic one without induction. This has a Power Boost option which instantaneously heats the pot, has the bridge function where 2 areas act as 1, it is easier to clean and has slide controls where you don't have to push +/- lot of times. One thing to mention is the bridge areas only operate if the pot is big enough to cover both centres and you need a 30" pot for that (my 28" barely operates both). Overall would recommend it.

Love the hob. Looks great. Love the ability to merge to hot plates together to form the bridge which is really good when using a griddle plate. So easy to control and the timer is brilliant as it switches off the hob plate when the time has been reached. So much better than our old gas one and so much quicker.

Positives Bevelled edges giving easier to clean edge with worktop. hob to hood technology which appears to be working well. Easy touch buttons Negatives None so far, (3 days after installation.)

Great product. Allows you to have a larger pan on the hob and all surface will be heated. Downside is how sensitive it can be. If it identifies anything on the hob it may start beeping - such as cleaning spray or pan is resting on top when hob is off.
