    A good buy

    This microwave is 800w, not 900w as stated but it's powerful enough. The interior is spacious and well lit. There are more programmes than I really need but it's easy to heat food. I haven't tried the grill function yet. One star deducted because we struggled to install it properly - the microwave just won't hook onto the right hand bracket despite careful measuring. Also, the fixings screws aren't standard flat head or Phillips - we had to pause installation to go and buy a special screwdriver.

    How can you write a review after a few weeks? I don't know how to operate it properly yet. It looks good, installation was difficult - how can you have a hook on the right hand side that means you need to lift the microwave about 15mm yet you can't because, it is tight fitting into the space? How can you lift it over hook if there is no space? and if there was space to lift it, what filler do you use to fill the gap?

    Difference between the Miele M2234SC & Miele M2224SC

    Product looks amazing, although not fitted yet. Top tip, as no one could tell me the answer, not even Miele. If you want a microwave for inside a larder unit buy the M2224SC, exactly the same microwave. If you want a microwave to fit into a tall oven housing unit (on display), buy this model M2234SC. The door is 100mm larger, making it the same width as an oven. Sadly my kitchen supplier recommended the wrong model, I now know after buying both, the difference between the 2 models, which no-one seemed to be able to answer. Hope this helps.

      Get your new oven fitted the same day it’s delivered. Our engineers will disconnect your old appliance before getting your new one set up. We'll give your new appliance a full health check to ensure it’s safe and ready to use straight away.

      If you’ve bought a new appliance but you don’t want us to connect it for you, all you’ll need to do is disconnect your old one, empty it and place it by the entrance of your property, ready for us to pick up. Or, if you’ve ordered our connection service with a new appliance, we’ll disconnect your old one for you.

      If you haven’t bought a new appliance, we can still collect your old one and take it away for recycling. However, as we won’t be able to come into your home to disconnect it, you’ll need to make sure it’s by the entrance to your property, ready for us to pick up. Our experts will recycle it safely and responsibly in our state-of-the-art facility.

      The cost of our Remove & Recycle service goes towards safely transporting the product to our recycling plant. Under the WEEE regulations, recycling costs are primarily covered by the product manufacturer.

      Also, while we’re picking up your appliance, if you’ve got any smaller kitchen electricals that need recycling – such as kettles, toasters or blenders – we’ll happily take those away too at no extra charge. Just pass them to your driver when we’re picking up your larger appliance.
