The microwave is really good and looks beautiful on the wall in kitchen. This is the first time I am having the integrated Microvae wall mounted. I was very apprehensive about it...but I love my kitchen now...

Quiet sleek to look at, the door opens by a button that does require power. The glass door doesn't have a frame or handle so seems a bit fragile and could easily get chipped or crack on the edge you close it with. The whole microwave seems lightweight and doesn't have the solid feel, I used to expect from AEG.

We were struggling to replace a built in Neff microwave that had lasted us 17 years. This AEG one did the job and fitted well when we added back the original filler piece that came with our first microwave. It’s 17 litres and not 20 like our old one but it hasn’t been a problem so far. Similarly, our old one was 900 watt and this one 800 but we’ve not noticed a massive difference in cooking times. The black finish is really smart and blends in well with our existing kitchen. The LED light is really good and you get the option not to have the display clock which we like. The controls are very simple and the quick start with 30 seconds a press is so speedy. I was sad when our old microwave finally died but this has turned out for the best.

It's a great product and as it is the same size as a previous discontinued model it fits really well.
