Beautiful combination of elegance and functionality.

First, AO delivery was perfect. The display is superb, the anti glare etching seems to just suck light in. Reviews call it expensive, then quote 4k displays as competitors; they are not: this is a 5k display with native resolution for a Mac Studio. The only competition is from LG for a similar price with dubious built quality. This monitor is built beautifully. The speakers are great for playing music while you work, a nice base at low and high volumes. Given the effectiveness of the anti glare, the tilt only works fine without the need for height adjustment. The webcam is a bit grainy, but since the camera framing follows you around the room, my guess is they use a very wide angle and intelligently crop, so you’re never getting the full resolution. In terms of NITS, it’s way plenty; again the anti-glare capability means I’ve not gone past 50% and mine is positioned side-on to a South-facing window. I use it for Photography, and the colour rendering is astonishing. Reviewer quote lack of HDR; but my photographs will either go on the web or get printed; neither need to be rendered at full HDR, so no worries there. Not sure if the 60hz will be up to movie editing or gaming; but then again, it’s not marketed at gamers and 5k movie makers will probably be using the pro display. I’m very happy, and know this will be an amazing display, for what I need it, for at least another 5 years.

Nano-Texture was probably the best decision for our setup that has a window behind the desk. Buying with AO was a breeze too - delivered next day before 11am.
