Got this for a family member. I caved on getting her the 11 inch & opted for the 13. It IS a big bit of real estate but as it's now her main device it makes sense. The screen resolution is very impressive & it copes well running several, resource heavy, apps simultaneously. This was a replacement for an older iPad which Apple bricked the battery on via an update( literally. Instantly & from there on the battery more than halved it's endurance). Not AO's fault of course. Whilst that was annoying this new product & version is a step change & according to her it's like a totally new bit of tech in comparison. Having looked over at the screen when running HD movies I'm inclined to agree. If you're on the fence about replacing I can genuinely say this version & size is worth the sticker price & runs efficiently & effectively day-2-day. I say all the above whilst, personally, not even liking Apple product for my own use. So nothing I've said is even remotely from a 'fanboy' POV.
