I think this product is great, the L2 version includes all you need to get the door handle wired up to your Google Assistant (and Siri), although the instructions provided are a little vague for setting up the Wifi connection. The door handle installation was also a little fiddly in parts and I would strongly recommend watching a Youtube video on installing the handles (not the Yale version though which is filmed and edited through rose tinted spectacles). It took me three attempts and several resets and 2.5hrs to complete, mainly I would say due to the omission of useful pointers in the instructions. Once installed and working, the unit has been performed well bar a couple of small glitches which have been overcome by a process of relocking and unlocking the door. I can't say how long the batteries last as I've not got through a set yet but so far so good. The kit comes with a mains socket plug in Wifi connector which I believe links to the door handle via bluetooth, therefore is needs to be reasonably close. Ours is 4m away and it works fine. My only moan would be that Yale only supply one RFID card and one RFID fob which is the simplest way of connecting activating the lock, but you can BUY more if you wish, my kids prefer the fobs. It would have been great if they had set it up so you can activate the unlock using your phones NFC connection. I believe Apple users can use a feature o their phone to do this. I love the access to google assistant as I can approach my drive in the car and ask Google to unlock the door after saying the passcode. This means laden with heavy shopping bag you can walk straight in. Overall I love this product and am happy to recommend, just needs a bit of patience when setting up.

Easy to install and works exactly as needed. Used to forget to lock the door occasionally but now we don’t have to worry.

Big improvement from the original smart door lock. Once fitted and set up it works well.
