    Product Overview

This stylish Stoves gas cooker is great for bakers and cooks alike. As the oven is conventional, it gets hotter at the top as heat rises, creating perfectly risen sponges every time. It also has an electronic programmable Maxi Clock™ timer, so you can always be in complete control of your cooking. Thanks to the 4 zones on the hob, you’ll have room for preparing dinner and dessert too. No need to worry about wobbly pans either, as the sturdy Cast Iron Pan Supports prevents spills. And whether you’ve made a tiramisu or a korma, the cooker is made with an easy clean enamel – making it super simple to wipe away splatters.

    Features we love

    Simple to use touch controls

Do away with menu-diving and confusing settings with the Maxi Clock™ function. With a clear, easy-to-read display and simple touch controls, setting the timer on your righteous roasties is a breeze.

Cut down on spills with cast iron pan supports

You’ll never have to worry about wobbly pans with these sturdy cast iron pan supports. They‘re strong enough to support different types of cookware, so even when you’re brewing large batches of stew in a heavier pot, it won’t suffer any spills. So, you can carry on cooking with confidence.

    Tips for measuring up

As a freestanding cooker, this model can easily be fitted into an appropriate space between your kitchen countertops. Cookers usually come in three widths – 50cm, 55cm or 60cm – so just measure the space you have to find one that’ll fit. Also check the depth, as you’ll need to allow for gas pipes and electrical sockets around the back of the appliance.

    A quality product

A nice stove that does what it says it can. I only have one critique of it and that is the pull down of the grill compartment door. If you pull down from top it bangs onto your knuckles . Must be pulled palm upward.

    Stoves gas cooker

Cooker as expected from a reputable company. Solidly made and looks good. Only downside is that the main oven is not fully automatic meaning that it has to be turned on manually.

Smart-looking cooker that takes a bit of getting used-to

A solid and smart-looking gas cooker that definitely has a premium air about it - as it it should, given its premium price tag. We opted for the full-fitting service that AO provide (essential with a gas cooker) and this all went fine, the installer even changing our existing gas connection fitting for a new one that could be properly secured to the wall, this making for a much safer connection point. So, that part was all good. Unfortunately though, we did subsequently endure some issues with the main oven randomly turning itself off which, as you can probably imagine, made cooking the Christmas dinner this year an even trickier task than usual! Getting the issue sorted though (via a call to Stoves Service department) was relatively straightforward but, as this all happened over the Christmas holiday period, we did have to wait a while for our engineer visit. There's also a bit of a knack you have to learn when it comes to lighting the hob burners. Don't be tempted to release the control knob as soon as the gas ignites because, if you do, the flame will just go out again. You need to keep the controller pressed-in for a few seconds after the burner has lit and then slowly release it. I believe this is one of the cooker's safety features in action but it has taken us a little while to get used to it as our previous cooker seemed to be much easier to start - that cooker was well-over twenty years old though and, no doubt, wouldn't be up to today's safety standards. With regard to actually cooking things, notwithstanding the issues we've had, it does a pretty good job. Both of the ovens are a good size, the electric grill works well and the hob burners are nice and controllable. It's a 5 star cooker that, for us, only dropped a star because it arrived with a fault.

We’ll unpack it and give it a full health check first, to make sure everything is in tip-top shape, and we’ll give you an official gas safety certificate too. We’re taking a sensible approach to the changing COVID-19 situation, and so we’ve had to make some adjustments to our services.

If you’ve bought a new appliance but you don’t want us to connect it for you, all you’ll need to do is disconnect your old one, empty it and place it by the entrance of your property, ready for us to pick up.

If you haven’t bought a new appliance, we can still collect your old one and take it away for recycling. However, as we won’t be able to come into your home to disconnect it, you’ll need to make sure it’s by the entrance to your property, ready for us to pick up. Our experts will recycle it safely and responsibly in our state-of-the-art facility.

The cost of our Remove & Recycle service goes towards safely transporting the product to our recycling plant. Under the WEEE regulations, recycling costs are primarily covered by the product manufacturer.

Also, while we’re picking up your appliance, if you’ve got any smaller kitchen electricals that need recycling – such as kettles, toasters or blenders – we’ll happily take those away too at no extra charge. Just pass them to your driver when we’re picking up your larger appliance.
